Reclaimed Perspective: The [Complicated?] Good News

We make Church and Christianity and following Jesus so complicated. But it’s pretty simple, really. 

The Good News

Both elevates us (you are precious – as is your neighbor)

And humbles us (your neighbor is flawed – as are you).

It mirrors the cross,

Which humbles our Creator

(Who loved us enough to become like us and submit to death)

And elevates Him (death could not hold him down!)

And in this humble, elevated good news – we find wholeness.
